Global Brand Strategy Lead ASOS
Caroline Morell Bøstrup Asmussen is the Global Brand Strategy Lead at ASOS and carries unique global experience and education within both business and fashion. She describes her work as being on a mission to create effective, entertaining, and relationship-building brand experiences, through the power of creative strategy.
Before ASOS, Caroline worked as an independent consultant for some of the world’s biggest network agencies and most creative independent “hot shops”. During this time she led creative brand strategy for global fashion, luxury, and lifestyle brands across Copenhagen, Paris, Dubai, Singapore, and London. Prior to that, Caroline held positions such as Head of Digital Strategy and Planning Director at Saatchi and Saatchi and Lead Social Strategist at Ogilvy.
Caroline is the 2020 winner of the Global Women in Marketing Awards in the Independent Consultant category, she’s Guest Lecturer at Kings College London, Cannes Lions award winner, and sits on the advisory board for KIB; a Danish organisation promoting women in leadership and boards.
Caroline graduated from the Scandinavian Academy of Fashion Design and holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. from Copenhagen Business School. In addition to her studies in Copenhagen, she spent a semester at Ecole Supérieure de Gestion in Paris and studied Asian Business & Management at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
