Chief Marketing Officer, Delta Capita
Leeya is Chief Marketing Officer for Delta Capita, a global provider of managed services, technology solutions and consulting. Leeya leads and manages two strategies as she also performs the CMO role for Delta Capita’s parent company, Prytek. Prytek is a multinational technology group that runs a number of verticals and Delta Capita is the financial services arm of Prytek.
In her role as Global CMO, Leeya is responsible for communications, brand building, brand development and M&A strategies, scaling channels to generate demand, new markets and works with the Board to grow the business globally.
Leeya has worked within the financial services and technology industry in a variety of senior executive leadership positions. With over a decade of experience in B2B marketing for global financial, technology and management consulting companies (Oracle, IBM, Accenture, Gartner, Kurtosys, FNB) in global, EMEA and APAC roles, she has a wealth of experience implementing successful marketing strategies, building brands, and subsequently increasing revenues of global businesses.
In 2020 Leeya was highly commended for ‘Customer Experience’ for championing the customer and placing human-centricity at the heart of her work, by the prestigious Global Women in Marketing Awards 2020.
Outside her corporate role, Leeya mentors’ women on business and social development, and has worked with the likes of the Princes Trust in the UK mentoring young people to deliver business plans. She is passionate about social development and breaking down silos in corporate culture.
She provides guest speaking and lectures in marketing and has delivered talks to marketing students at a number of UK Universities.
As a thought leader, she also writes blogs, marketing insights pieces and is a speaker at industry forums.
Leeya attended the DSJ, the International German School in Johannesburg, holds a BA Degree in Fine Arts from University Witwatersrand and a Postgraduate BA Honours Degree in Brand Marketing Management from VEGA School of Communications in South Africa. She holds an MBA from Henley Business School, University Reading in the UK and is currently completing her PhD with MCI Management Centre Innsbruck in Austria and the Antwerp Management School, at the University of Antwerp in Belgium.
