WiM IWD Event 2009

Theme: Branding: Where great ideas shine

Date: 11 March 2009

Location: Swarovski CRYSTALLIZED store with lounge & Café, 24 Great Marlborough Street, London W1F 7HU

The theme is Branding and the speakers are some of the most exciting people working in marketing and communications today. A speaker from Swarovski will start the conference by discussing the Swarovski brand. Other highlights include Rita Clifton, Chairman of Interbrand, who will address key trends in branding.

As Director of Sales and Marketing Global Wealth Management (EMEA), Julie Bridge, will present her thoughts on Brand You. You’ll also be hearing from PrettyLittleHead, the brainchild of Jane Cunningham and Philippa Roberts. As the founders of an agency exclusively focused on marketing to women, they’ll be looking at the differences between male and female target audiences – and what that means for brands that need to connect with women.

When ad budgets are cut, PR offers brands the opportunity to engage with consumers through both media and word of mouth. Jackie Cooper, Creative Director of Edelman PR will offer her unique take on the downturn
