Daryl has spent more than three decades working for both agencies and brands.
Advertising career highlights include leading Dove’s “Campaign for Real Beauty” and helping Tony Blair to victory by leading The Labour Party’s General Election communications in 1997.
She held Managing Director roles at Vodafone UK and Mondelez Eu, responsible for brand strategy and marketing. She now is CEO of The Marketing Academy Foundation and serves on the board of the British Heart Foundation, The Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants and the Academy of Ancient Music. Last year her definitive guide, The Brand Book, was published, and international editions have been commissioned. Being a keynote speaker – as well as coaching and mentoring young marketers – gives her great fulfilment as does baking a nifty line in royal-themed cakes.
