Lara lead the Prime and North America marketing for Amazon. In this role, she was in charge of marketing Amazon across channels and categories for the North American region. Prior to joining Amazon, Lara was Senior Vice President of Visa Inc. where she was responsible for all brand building and marketing activities across platforms in the United States and Canada. During her tenure at Visa, she ran global marketing strategy and planning, global product marketing and innovation marketing. Prior to Amazon and Visa, Lara held marketing leadership positions at Nike, Gap, General Mills and Prophet Brand Strategy. Lara holds a Pre-Law undergraduate degree from University of Washington from which she graduated magna cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa distinction. She also has an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University.
